Construction of a new single-storey extension to create a teaching block. This forms part of the Council’s School Expansion Programme to construct new modern buildings, classrooms, specialist facilities, and play spaces to meet requirements and increase capacity.
The new teaching block includes a new larger dining hall, staffroom, an extension to the existing gym, and new play areas. The works also include the refurbishment of existing buildings comprising the internal reconfiguration of classrooms, toilets, and storerooms. External works were also required to provide level access from the hall and classrooms to the existing playground.
