15 Mansfield Street is an 18th century building on the corner of Mansfield Street and Cavendish Street, a conservation area in the City of Westminster.
The works comprise of the complete refurbishment and alteration of the existing rooms to form office spaces from basement, ground floor, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This includes new partitions, electrical and mechanical services, ceilings and joinery wall finishes along with level access toilet facilities.
There are also alterations to the entrance lobby, installation of a new larger lift and alterations to the main staircase to enhance the circulation areas. Installation of a steel frame ladder through each floor level forms new openings into the offices and existing openings are fitted with fire rated screens.
The project also includes the construction of a 4th floor apartment and office space accessed via a new staircase, structural steel and timber roof with glazed roof light and a new plant room at roof level.
